FRANCES IN RUBY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Good Afternoon, My sweet wife Frances is doing fine after major back surgery yesterday, she had to be placed on Life Support all of yesterday afternoon and last night, the doctor had torn her spinal cord, they got it under control and sealed up, the other operation on her spine went fine. She is now resting and has to be on her back for 24 hours, she will be able to sit up this evening around 7 pm. Her surgery took 6 hours to complete. Will let you all know and keep you informed.......

Adam Hamrick Reunion 2010

Good Afternoon All, Wow, its been a busy week after Labor Day Weekend, what a great time we had at the Adam Hamrick Reunion this past Saturday, we had 98 in attendance and would have had more if it had been on Sunday, lot of family members had to work, next year it will be on Sunday at the VA Park in Clarksburg. The shelter will hold 150 people and there is a play ground for the Children, Put,Put Golf course, Horse Shoe pits and Tennis Courts. .... If you didn't get to attend this year make plans for next year. For those of you that live out of this Wonderful State Of West Virginia there are plenty of places to stay here with family, we love to have you all come stay as long as you want to..Spend time with family and friends...

Nelson Hamrick Reunion

Good Afternoon All, Yes its that time of the year, I call it the best time of the year when all of us get together. This time its at Nelson's Home Place in French Creek, WV on Saturday August 14, starting around 10 or 10:30am, please try to attend, if need directions call me here at 304-783-5253, also don't forget the Adam Hamrick reunion on Sept 4, 2010 starting around 10am try getting there early at the Clarksburg Park known as Nutter Fort Park the Maple Shelter first one on the right as you enter the park...Also on Sunday August 22, 2010 there is the Hamrick-Doddrill Reunion on Point Mountain in Webster County, please try to attend, it almost went under, all the older realtives have gone on to glory and the young ones wants no part no more, so please try to be there, I remember when there were over 1,000 to attend now its down to around 25 people, what a shame, Frances and myself plan to attend this year....We need to take time out and fellowship one with the other up on Point Mountain, WV......

Hot,Hot, July 2010

Good Afternoon All, Boy its been hot around here, in the mid 90's and the heat index in triple digits, oh well by next January we will wish for some warm weather....This summer is going to fast, our Sardis Senior Citizens have been making trips around the area, we went to Ada land in Phillippi, WV and had lunch and now we are going to Wheeling, WV on a trip, we Seniors are getting out and doing lot of traveling, we have Wilbert & Mary Hamrick, Woody & Aritha Hamrick and Fay & Wayne Gerrard thats in our Senior Citizens group, so its like having a family trip about every other month in the summer, we our planning to go to Belnnerhassett Island in September.. Here is a picture of Wilbert & Woody Hamrick at Ada land....Don't forget the Adam Hamrick Reunion Saturday Sept. 4, 2010 same place last year, Nutter Fort, Park in Clarksburg.....

Good Afternoon All, Well had to do it, the old Explorer died and was on its last wheel. So Frances and myself went looking for a truck, and we found a beautiful 2010 Blue Ford F-150 Pickup, I have had only two new vehicle's in my life time the old Bronco I bought in 1978 lasted me for 15 years, that's way I Will always own a FORD, it stands for First On Race Day....
